Pre-admission Testing is conducted prior to a surgical procedure. It usually includes blood work, an EKG, chest x-ray, physical assessment and history. These studies are conducted to detect and correct any abnormalities prior to surgery. Some Important Tips to Remember When Preparing for Your Procedure:
Follow your physician’s instructions in preparation for your surgery/procedure. This will allow you to avoid unnecessary delays and/or cancellations. Do not bring any items of value with you. Remember to prepare for a ride home prior to arriving the day of your surgery.
